Another broken collarbone
So, I built a small jump in the backyard selected safely practice getting small air. I used some bridges that in the past and leftover pieces of the stringers from the new deck. Even though it's pretty small, I was a little intimidated when I first started rolling over it. So I went through a series of incremental steps.
1) Just roll over the jump gently. At first I went up the slow side and down the steep side. Then I went up the steep side and down the slow side - the way I designed it.
2) As I got comfortable rolling over the jump, I slowly increased my speed.
3) as I got comfortable rolling over the jump in a modest speed, I started paying attention to lightening the wheels at the apex.
4) Very naturally, I started getting a little bit of air at the top of the jump.
5) Very gradually, I started to get more and more air.
